Power Battery and Ring

I wanted to extperiment with making semi-realistic models and rendering, so I made and textured these Green lantern themed objects. I played around with the lighting using the Cycles engine in Blender

Animated Wallpaper

After making my Lantern and Ring projects, I had the bright idea to make an animated wallpaper that I could use for my desktop!

Using the logo part from the ring mesh, I decided to have it rotating in space, and make it into a looping gif.

It's been my wallpaper ever since!
